Meet Dr. Mooney

Joseph V. Mooney, D.M.D

Doctor Mooney grew up in Danbury, Ct. At a very early age he learned the value of hard work and dedication. It wasn't until early college that he considered a career in dentistry.

Dr. Mooney graduated from Danbury High School. In 1989, Dr. Mooney graduated from Western Connecticut State University. In 1993, Dr. Mooney received his D.M.D. from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. It was during his senior year in dental school Dr. Mooney married his high school sweetheart Donna. They live in Danbury, Ct with their two children Kate and Joe.

Dr. Mooney began practicing Dentistry in Boston, MA and in 1994 decided to build a state-of-art Dental Office in the same community where he was raised. He opened his office in July 1994.
Dr. Mooney is committed to excellence in dentistry, with 13 years of surgical, prosthetics experiences. He spends approximately 50 hours continuing his education on a yearly basis. He is a member of the American Dental Association and is a Fellow of the Academy of Implant Dentistry, currently working toward his mastership. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and reading while involved in city government and volunteer work with the city schools..
